#LATE 2014 MAC MINI SSD INSTALL INSTALL#

Tried the USB install again with the same results. Ran Apple Hardware check both on line and remotely and no problems found on either test. But it doesn't matter because when the progress bar just passes the 'g' on '2 minutes remaining ' the Mini restarts into the recovery screen after an alternating Apple and Nul sign. The installer interestingly says 10, then a few seconds later says 6 minutes remaining. Finally tonight made an installer on a USB drive for Mojave and attempted that several times. Have erased, reformatted, run Disk Repair (nothing wrong with disk per Disk Repair). I have tried several times to install Mojave and even High Sierra on it via Internet Recovery. Read a thread about ACUP and excepted it's library file from TM backup, so now TM working fine.īut I would like to connect the 2014 to my TV for my wife and I to surf YouTube on occasions. Was able to install them on the new Mini, so I luckily lost nothing. Have bought a 2018 Mac Mini and luckily had saved my user file on another disk as well as my apps folder. Found out too late that it was a problem with a software file (App Cleaner and Uninstaller Pro). I do not have a TM backup because I kept getting an error that the 'backup drive did not have sufficient space.' Thought this was a hard drive problem, erased it and tried again and never could get a backup to run. Ran Etrecheck which said I had a failing hard drive. I have a Late 2014 Mac Mini that I had upgraded to Mojave and noted a lot of different problems ( apps randomly opened slowly, occasional freezes and crashes).
